Movie Night on the Circle
Back for a repeat performance, the second “Movie Night on the Circle” has been set. We will be showing the movie "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". Please join the Century Trace Home Owners Association Board members and your Neighbors for another peaceful evening under the stars enjoying another outdoor movie.
As the summer is coming to an end, what better way to enjoy it than outdoors, under the stars with friends and family? So Grab your chairs, coolers, and blankets and come and enjoy a movie and some popcorn under the stars on August 20th at 7:30pm. The movie will start between 8:30pm-9:00pm, daylight permitting. We will be hosting the Movie Night event at the top loop of Century Circle just west of 248th street off of Millennium Parkway.
Plenty of space will be available and parking will be available for residents who live a little further away. This is a great opportunity to meet with old friends and meet new neighbors. Again don’t forget to stop by the HOA Board Members table to introduce your self and meet some of the Board Members from 7:00pm-8:00pm. We will be handing out useful information for residences as well as signing up residences for the Century Trace HOA Website.
Special thanks to the Block Family for sponsoring the equipment and setting up for the event. I would also like to extend many thanks to the Plainfield Fire Department for coming out with the Trucks and giving the children tours of the equipment.
The Summer Newsletter is now available for viewing. Please note that if you received and email notice, you will not receive a hard copy in the mail as an effort to reduce postage costs. Recall On May 16, 2007, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the General Electric Company (GE) announced a recall of 2.5 million GE built-in dishwashers manufactured from September 1997 to December 2001. If you have a GE dishwasher, you should stop using it and check the GE Dishwasher Recall web site to see if you have a model that was recalled. If you have one of these models, discontinue use and follow the instructions on the web site to contact GE for service. Litter Control A reminder that you need to secure you garbage and recyclables on windy days. Your neighbors do not want to remove your trash from their yard. Please do not put out your garbage, recycling or yard waste prior to Wednesday night. This is an eyesore and increases the possibility that your garbage can blow around. |
Schools
Students are served by two school districts. Children in Auburn Lakes attend Oswego School District 308. Children in Century Trace and The Reserve attend Indian Prairie School District 204. |  |
Facilities
Century Trace/Auburn Lakes has three beautiful ponds and a park district lake. The park district lake has a walking path, a basketball court, and a small park for the children to play. On the Century Trace side, there is another tot lot for the children. |
